Kim Kardashian relives her daughter, Chicago West's Cowgirl Era, in an Instagram Carousel of photos from her 7th birthday. The SKIMS founder threw Chicago a Wild West/Cowgirl party that was all the bells and whistles. Plus, she and her "twin" dressed up in Western gear.
Chicago's party was back in January and was pushed to a later date due to the Los Angeles Wildfires. When it was time to celebrate, Kim made up for the lost time by ensuring that everyone would enjoy the event. But that's not an issue, considering the Kardashian-Jenner family hosts extravagant parties for their kids for their special day.
Kim Kardashian and Chicago West become Cowgirls at her birthday party
Kim loves posting her children's milestone birthdays, and she did it again with Chicago. On February 25th, the reality star showcased a Carousel of snaps from the party. Inside the scenic display, Kim is dressed in nearly all-black, while Chicago is dressed in a bedazzled white fringed Cowgirl outfit complete with hat and boots.
Kim wore a long-sleeved black blouse with belted Levis and matching black boots. For glam, she went with a smoky eye and a neutral lip.
The decorations are as festive as the wardrobe, with pink and brown colored saloon booths set up with a cow on stage and hale bales for a more West aesthetic. Pink floral arrangements were displayed across long tables, and favors included adoptable ponies. Among the guests were Khloé Kardashian, True and Tatum Thompson, Dream Kardashian, and Chicago's three siblings- North, Saint, and Psalm.
For entertainment, kids could play a game of darts or take a turn whacking the giant pink pinata filled with candy and prizes. When everyone got hungry, as one does at parties, a slice of the life-size pink and white Cowgirl Boot birthday cake. "Happy birthday, Chi!" is written on the bottom.
Kim kept the caption simple and to the point.
"Chicago's 7th birthday party," she writes.
The Cowgirl party was designed and planned out by the Kardashians' longtime party consultant, Mindy Weiss. She has an eye for even the smallest details, and the results are spectacular.
When working on coordinating the flowers for Chicago's party, Weiss revealed in the February 19th podcast episode of Khloé In Wonderland that she shopped at Nordstrom Rack for Western boot vases to match the theme. Kim and Khloé shared the same thought that vases were "cute," and after seeing it for myself in Weiss's post via Instagram, I have to agree
