Kourtney Kardashian and her sister, Kim Kardashian, might have had their arguments over the years, but one can't deny that Kim hands out the best Christmas presents, as each one is carefully selected. She knew that her older sister, eighteen months her senior, would love this year's choice, as it's something she'll cherish forever. And it's one of cinema's most recognizable symbols.
The holiday is well-loved in the Kardashian and Jenner households, as they not only celebrate it to the fullest, with their homes meticulously decorated, but also lavish one another with gifts. The elements might feel ostentatious and over-the-top to people outside the family and their Inner Circle, but for the media moguls, these elements are a part of their lives
Riding back to Kourtney, she was surprised to find Kim's gift for her on Christmas morning. In the 1980s and before that, the item was at the top of every kid's Wish List (not me though, as I wanted plush animals), but connect a movie to it, and it becomes legendary.
Kourtney Kardashian gets Pee-Wee Herman's bicycle for Christmas
Every kid wanted a bike, but Kourtney got the one from the 1985 comedy, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure. It's one of the fourteen Schwinn bicycles used in the production, which was written by the late Paul Reubens, who portrayed the giggling Man-Child and his friend, the late comedian Phil Hartman, with Tim Burton directing it. Big Adventure is synonymous with pop culture lore, and nearly every 1980s kid knows it.

Imagine the Poosh founder waking up surprised on Christmas morning to find Pee-Wee's most prized possession parked in front of her house. To celebrate her new treasure, Kourtney snapped a photo of the bike and uploaded it to her Instagram Stories on December 27. The bike's glistening in its red, silver, and white glory, with its lion head decor grinning. Paul Ruebens would approve that his bike is receiving a well-deserved appreciation after forty years since Big Adventure's 1985 initial release.

While Kim hasn't disclosed just how she managed to get the bike, another one was recently sold on the site, iCollecter, for $100,000. Then, Van Eaton Galleries sold another bike for $125,000, with its initial sale price set at half that amount.
Paul Reubens passed away from cancer in 2023, but his legacy as Pee-Wee Herman is infinite. He embraced his quirkiness like a badge of honor and reminded everyone to honor theirs.
