Kourtney Kardashian loves Christmas so much that she decorated her California home from head to toe with lit and sparkling trees, transforming the residence into an enviable Winter Wonderland. Naturally, you amplify celebrations to the max when you're a Kardashian. It's just how the family does things; they want to enjoy them as much as possible.
For the Lemme founder, Christmas mirrors her equal love for Halloween. She decks her home out for the Spooky Season and showcases in the most elaborate costumes with her husband, Travis Barker. Out of her large family, she worships Halloween the most and has been dubbed "The Queen of Halloween." As someone who loves Halloween and everything about it, that's an honor Kourtney deserves.
Now, she should be called the second "Queen of Christmas," as Mariah Carey holds the first title.
Kourtney Kardashian shows off her Christmas tree decor at her home
On Sunday, December 1st, Kourtney uploaded a multi-slide carousel on Instagram. Inside the bundle, snaps of Christmas trees in various colors and heights were fully displayed and enjoyed by the reality star. The decor is likely from throughout the years, as the last photo from the 1980s is a major giveaway.
The first slide is an enormous, deep green fir with lights, standing in one of the foyers of Kourtney's home. Another slide contains the deep crimson forest-like landscape with balloons and a lit-up curved-branched tree. You'll find a tiny reindeer and a rocking horse if you look carefully. The decor is from the 2022 Kardashian-Jenner Christmas Eve party, as Kourtney opted for a red theme that year.
As we trail along the Carousel, there's a clip of a mini-tour of the red trees and another of sneaky little Elves on the Shelf climbing down the Cathedral-high ceiling. There's even a tiny white tree with black, bright pink, and silver ball ornaments, with Barbie's Dreamhouse in the background.
We're guessing that the tree is inside Penelope's bedroom due to the size of the tree and the house. We love it when Kourtney incorporates her children into the scene, even if we can't see them. It's nice to get a peek at their interests and preserve that childhood innocence.
The most unusual one is the upside-down tree, but this could be a Grinch reference, as the Whos in Whoville hung some of their trees upside down. Or it could be referencing a 7th-century Monk who used the upside-down tree to explain Christianity to the Pagans.
So it's not unusual now, once you put the religious perspective behind it.
Aside from the forest of trees, two portraits of Kourtney are revealed. In one, she wears a tiny green dress with red boots (have you seen her in the red heels, though?) and ornament earrings; in the other, she's wearing a tan dress with black gloves as she holds up a snow globe.
There, there's Old Saint Nick himself, ringing in the holidays.
"Hello December," Kourtney pens for the caption.

If there was chosen favorite in the group of photos, it'd have to be the vintage image from the 1980s as it's reflective of my childhood in the decade. Seeing that photo must have brought back so many memories and even though we can never get that time back, we can still touch it with a simple camera shot.
