Kourtney Kardashian is looking back at her Y2K New Year celebrations and has some fond memories from it.

Although the Lemme and Poosh founder was only 20 years old at the time, she was already living an active and whole life. She was in her third year of college, majoring in theater at the University of Arizona. In addition to her studies, Kourtney spent time with her sisters and friends, as most college girls do.

The Y2K New Year was twenty-five years ago, and the world was distressed by the "Y2K Bug." This tech phenomenon had almost everyone panicking about whether the computers and electronics would simultaneously crash and the world would end.

But Kourtney wasn't too concerned about being "bit" by the Bug because she enjoyed the NYE celebrations and what the future held for her.

Kourtney Kardashian is a Y2K New Year fashionista in throwback snap

Kourtney took to Instagram on January 31st and posted a photo from twenty-five years ago. In the photo, the media personality has long dark hair with bangs, sports a leopard pink designer handbag, and smiles with two friends.

She recalled that specific NYE as if it were yesterday, giving particular details. For instance, Kourtney remembered what she was wearing: a black tube top, a baby pink ballgown skirt, and platform heels. It's typical 1999/2000 fashion and was the fad.

Kourtney additionally revealed that she was talking to her sisters on an early cellphone as she danced to Prince and the Gipsy Kings.

Her last line in the post's caption explained how the experiences shaped her, even unintentionally foreshadowed her life today.

"Grateful for every one that led me to this perfect place. God is good."

How did Kourtney Kardashian spent the 2025 New Year's?

Kourtney wasn't in Miami for this New Year's Eve, but that doesn't mean she missed out on the fun. She spent the night at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, one of her favorite places. The mom of four shared photos on her Instagram Stories so that fans could get a glimpse at how the park came alive during the holiday season.

In the four snaps that she revealed, there's the It's A Small World attraction all lit up in Christmasy green and red, a bunch of colorful Mickey Mouse balloons that seem to be glowing, the curved golden strip staircase at Club 33, and my favorite, the Mickey pretzel because it's such an adorable and delicious savory snack.

2025 may have just begun, and hopefully, the year will be nothing but virtuous.
