Kris Jenner is living and thriving in her seventh decade, and to top it off, she was surrounded by her family and close friends—as it should be—because a birthday doesn't feel right without sharing it. And a mother's life should be celebrated, since she is the giver of life to her children and their mentor.
The momager turned 70 on November 5, with her children posting Instagram dedications. Rob Kardashian, who made a return to the reality TV realm with his appearance on The Kardashians this season, made a comeback to the social media platform. He dropped childhood snaps and a photo of Kris with his daughter, Dream, to honor his mom's special day.
You might have heard that (or, if you didn't), Kris had an extravagant James Bond 007-themed birthday party on Saturday, November 8. And in vivid Kardashian-Jenner fashion, an extra zero was added at the end, highlighting Kris's new chapter. Honestly, an event combining one of the best spy movies of all time and one of America's most prominent women is ingenious. I'm sure that it ran much deeper than its opulent surface, because everything has a meaning, parties included.
Kris Jenner and her big 0070 celebration: See the photos!
We mentioned on several occasions that when you're a member of the Kardashian-Jenner family, expect nothing less than an over-the-top gala to ring in birthdays and the holidays. Kris Jenner included.
The big bash was hosted at the Beverly Hills estate of Jeff Bezos and his new wife, Lauren Sánchez, the sprawling, near 14,000 square foot mansion, once owned by the legendary Jack L. Warner of Warner Bros., provided the perfect spot for the 0070 affair. Its rooms were transformed into the aesthetics of the 1960s, complete with decor, bars, and a special live performance by Bruno Mars.
Guests included many of Hollywood's Who's Who, and while they brought their own sense of glamor to the occasion, they were all there for Kris. Longtime friends Kathy Hilton, her daughter Paris Hilton, Oprah Winfrey, Martha Stewart, superstar Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were among the invited. Then, of course, Kim, Kourtney, Khloé, Kendall, and Kylie Jenner, and Kris's longtime love, Corey Gamble, were in attendance.
Kris looks youthful and radiant in her red strapless dress, which she purchased at the high-end boutique LILY et cie. The garment is an archival piece from the 2002 Givenchy Fall Runway collection, designed by the late Alexander McQueen. The martiarch then accessorized the gown with vintage jewelry and a custom ring by Lorraine Schwartz.
Kris shared the 'magical night' in multiple Instagram posts on November 10, including the ones above. We have a feeling that her party will be one hot moment in a future segment on The Kardashians. If the photos evoke emotion, then we can can't imagine what a video recap will bring!
