Kylie Jenner is bringing back her King Kylie Era in the form of makeup! In honor of the 10-year anniversary of the Era, Kylie Cosmetics will be dropping a limited edition collection in a rainbow of eye, face, and lip products that will surely bring us back to the mid-2010s. Think preppy pastels, glitter, and the daring black.
In case you need a reminder of who King Kylie was, or rather, the reality's former online alter ego, here it is. From 2015 to 2016, Kylie debuted a series of flashy and fun hairstyles (remember her teal color?) and exploded onto the beauty scene with her lip kits, which, as we all know, is now Kylie Cosmetics. She single-handingly transformed the beauty industry and it hasn't been the same since. Oh, and Kylie was barely eighteen when she done so, which only accelerated her power among society and the worl viewed her version with their lens.
Ten years later, Kylie is revisiting the period, much to the delight of fans. Her comeback, though, was no small thing. It was done in a massive and 'imprisoning' light, as King Kylie was the reflection of finding oneself, even if others didn't quite have the vibe for it.
Kylie Jenner has no shame as King Kylie as she makes prison life look good
Most everyone doesn't want to go to prison, but in the video, Glosses Part 2: King Kylie Returns, the reality star makes it look like a glamorous 5-star luxury resort instead of a place for punishment. But only Kylie (and we're sure that she won't enjoy real-life prison as much) would turn the experience around for her benefit. Is it selfish? No. Is it on brand for her? Absolutely.
The clip has been uploaded by Kylie and her team across several social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, on October 13. In the video, Kylie has spent the last decade in the system for being the Iconic Queen that she is. She passes the long days by counting to her release and is picked up by no other than her mother, Kris Jenner. The new King Kylie collection's packaging is revealed, featuring Snapchat filters and a 1980s-styled font. There's even a teal-tipped brush for application.
Per the fashion, Kylie's all-black leather looks leaves little to the imagination, but as it's a video, we're letting it pass, seeing how this piece was hers to create.

Kylie Jenner thanks the fans for King Kylie's revival
Lastly, Kylie took a few moments to post her gratitude for the support she received over the years for her makeup brand. She shared her words on Instagram, along with a pair of photos of herself in opaque teal glitter and a sparkling crown.
She gave a long letter of thanks in her caption and why she decided to dedicate a collection to one of her life eras.
"This King Kylie Collection is truly for you!!! You’re the reason [why] my biggest cosmetic dreams came true, and I wouldn’t be here. Ten years later! without your support. I’ve seen all your messages asking for a King Kylie collection, the fearless era that had a dream at just seventeen years old! And that’s why I posted that tweet back in 2022. I wanted to give you exactly what you’ve been waiting for. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being on this journey with me. I hope this collection makes you as happy as you’ve made me."
