Kim Kardashian dispels dating rumors during The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady

Kim Kardashian took center stage when it was her turn to "roast" the retired New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback, Tom Brady, at his Netflix special, The Greatest Roast of All Time, which aired live on May 5th. Kim addressed the dating rumors between her and Tom and even referenced one of her early "scandals.."

In case you haven't heard the news, rumors sparked between the reality star and the famed Super Bowl MVP last summer when the two were seen together during Michael Rubin's July 4th party. While Kim and Tom indeed appeared flirtatious, no romance bloomed between them. However, they're good friends. Yet, people were speculating that the two were getting close following Brady's 2022 divorce from his wife of thirteen years, supermodel Gisele Bündchen.

At the roast, Kim finally laid the rumors to rest regarding whether she and Tom had a thing or two. While it 's usually not the public's concern about who's dating who, and all the personal details that it involves, Kim just wanted to get the information out in the open.

"I wasn't going to come tonight. But since I'm not here as Tom's date, there's still a good chance I might," Kim says to the audience. "Speaking of Tom and I dating, I know there were some rumors that we were. And I'd never say if we did or not--I'd just release the [sex] tape."

So, it's a big "No" from Kim. But she took a laugh at herself and referenced her leaked 2007 sex tape, Kim Kardashian: Super Star. It was meant to be a private piece in 2003 between her and her then-boyfriend, singer, and the brother of Brandy Norwood, Ray J, but somehow the tape got leaked and released. To this day, it's still a mystery how it happened. Nonetheless, it quickly propelled Kim into the spotlight, and later that year, Keeping Up With The Kardashians premiered on the E! Network.

Kim also poked some fun at her stepdad, Caitlyn Jenner, who was married to Kris from 1991 to 2015, and compared her to Brady, regarding transition from football to his 2023 retirement.

"I do know it would never work out," she continues with her tribute. "An ex-athlete [with] high cheekbones [and] silky hair. You remind me too much of my stepdad now. Part of me thinks you want to undress me just to try on my clothes. I know that the transition from the NFL must have been really hard, but my stepdad is a great example for you. She's one of the best athletes in the world, who proved you can do anything in this net chapter of your life. You can become a commentator, a far-right Republican, or even a strong, confident woman."

Kim then spills the family history of how her late father, Robert Kardashian, defended former NFL players, such as the late O.J. Simpson.

"Honestly, it's hard for me to watch people roast you, but I think enough of my family members have helped former football players. So, I'm just here tonight to support you and celebrate you! Retirement isn't easy. It can be a lot like a bad breakup. So, I'll give the same advice that I [have given to] all my exes. Good luck knowing [that] the best is behind you. Congratulations Tom. Cheers everyone to Tom Brady."

Following Kim's grilling roast, cheers and applause were met, when before, there were a few "boos" and jeers. But Kim didn't let it get to her and did her performance.
