Kim Kardashian drops sweetest photos of North West on her 11th birthday: 'Thank God for you'
North West has the best mom in Kim Kardashian. The eldest child of the fashion mogul and Kanye West celebrated her 11th birthday on June 15th. Kim took her to the Big Apple, aka New York City, to soak up some of the best shopping on the planet. We're talking about hitting the American Dream Meadowlands Mall, where the birthday girl and her party, including guests Penelope Disick and Kim's longtime gal pal, Lala Anthony.
The group visited Nickelodeon Universe, an indoor amusement park, where North was greeted with a pink three-tiered cake and cupcakes with "I ❤️ NW" decorated across them. Kim and Lala had a fun party of their own when they rode the robotic animals throughout the shopping center and took a dive on one of the park's rides. Just because you're a grown woman doesn't mean you can't enjoy life.
Did North's shopping party this year outrank last year's Troop Beverly Hills-themed slumber party at the prestigious Beverly Hills Hotel? We don't compare parties as they all lock special memories from the moment. A very pregnant Kourtney Kardashian Barker made an appearance at her niece's celebration and even wore matching pajamas with Kim.
Aside from the mall madness, Kim paid an honorary tribute to North on social media, as. one usually does when there's a birthday.
Kim Kardashian calls North West her 'sweet girl' in Instagram post
In an adorable Instagram carousel Kim posted on June 15th, she shares throwbacks of her daughter, including the Armenian trip to learn about her heritage and one with one of their Pomeranians. We love that Kim and North share a special bond since the SKIMS founder had a difficult labor and was medically advised not to get pregnant afterward. However, Kim did carry her second child, Saint West, before going the surrogate route with Chicago and Psalm West.
"Thank God for you," Kim starts her caption. "Happy 11th birthday my sweet girl. I love you so, so, so, much!"
North has had a busy year (thus far), and just like her mom, she has no intentions of stopping. North was part of the stage cast for the The Lion King 30th Anniversary: A Live-to-Film Concert Event at the Hollywood Bowl in May. For her part, she was dressed in a golden lion costume and got to sing onstage.
While many criticized North, we believe she did her best and will look back on the event as a fun learning experience.
