Kim Kardashian stepped out in Paris in full swing as she headed to her first fashion show of the week on March 3rd. She was styled in a sheer gothic black high-necked dress crafted by no other than the Spanish-French house Balenciaga. Her raven black hair was done in a long pony, styled by her long-time hair husband, Chris Appleton. For glam, she opted for a natural look with a smoky eye, using her SKKN Makeup collection and nude nails.
What brought out the look was the Balenciaga tag dangling from the back. While many of us clip the tags before wearing, it's now considered a high-end fashion statement. Maybe we want to credit the creators of the pieces, as their talent must be shown, or we're committed to fashion and its trends.
Kim walked the Carpet before she was seated inside the Fashion Show. The Balenciaga Show has a special purpose for the reality star. In January, Kim became the new ambassador for the company, a role she has taken enomous pride in. The brand is known for its colorful bags, catsuits with attached stilettos, and sunglasses but offers plenty of other styles in its lineup.
Last week, Kim stunned us when she was fitted for one of her fashion show ensembles. Standing makeup in her Parisian hotel room, her waist looked incredibly tiny in a boned corset. While many believed that Kim was crushing her insides, according to the Instagram comments, the piece was custom-made for her and was comfortably contoured to her hourglass shape.
The black Gothic look is one of 2024's top fashion trends, per WWD on Yahoo. Think goth-metal singers like Evanescence's Amy Lee or Lily Munster, who brought this edgy style to the limelight. It's a basic go-to as there's only one color, but it can softened with lighter tones in the accessories or a splash of olive green or royal purple.
As Paris Fashion Week makes the runways in the next few days, we're excited to see more of Kim's fabulous dresses.
