Kourtney Kardashian reflects back to her college days: 'College Kourt'

Kourtney Kardashian is taking a trip down Memory Lane. On Saturday, May 18th, the reality star uploaded a rather adorable photo via Instagram from her college freshman days at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. We all know how transitioning the early weeks of college can be, and Kourtney's no different than the rest of us in the matter.

In the 1990s-era photo, Kourtney stands in front of her college dorm, while outside in the parking lot. What strikes us is how "in session" Kourtney looks with her choice of rectangular sunglasses and black fur-trimmed jacket, along with her confidant smile.

She even referred to herself as "College Kourt" and enhanced it with a smiling emoji with sunglasses, matching her appearance.

Per her caption, Kourtney reflected on easing the homesickness when her mother, Kris Jenner, and her cousin, Cici Bussey, visited her. The women would go to a "little market" to get salads, sourdough bread, and, for dessert, "raw oatmeal raisin cookie dough."

We have to agree with Kourtney's anecdote about how photos can bring back that moment in time, freezing it for eternity. Additionally, there's something special about "old-fashioned" photography before the digital and smartphone eras, as we didn't know what the final snap would be like. Imagine waiting a week or two for your high school prom pictures because you had a Kodak disposable camera. It was like capturing the moment again when you received those 4x6 glossy photos.

Kourtney eventually transferred to the University of Arizona, where she graduated in 2002 with a Bachelors in Theater and a Minor in Spanish.

Kourtney Kardashian shares another memory

Prior to her 'College Kourt' snap, Kourtney reflected on a more recent life event. She shared her Santa Barbara wedding pictures from May 2022 to celebrate her second anniversary to her true love, Travis Barker.

Kourtney's attire for the occasion is a white minidress with spaghetti straps and a matching sheer cloak. She accessorized it with burgundy velvet pumps and a Virgin Mary brooch. The entire set has a 1950s old Hollywood feel; if that was the goal the couple was going for, they succeeded.

"5.15.22," the caption reads with a black heart emoji. A week later, the couple went to Italy to have a religious ceremony. All four of her sisters-Kim, Khloé, Kendall, and Kylie, and mom Kris were just a few of the extended guest list.
