Kourtney Kardashian shares The Kardashians season 5 BTS while reflecting on self

Kourtney Kardashian is preparing for The Kardashians season 5 launch by sharing some behind-the-scenes footage on Instagram. In the five-slide carousel, Kourtney displays her full-on glam look, complete with a soft brown, off-the-shoulder dress and a dampened hairstyle. While dressing up to perfection is a promotion requirement, Kourtney confessed that the filming can be an emotional whirlwind.

To her 224+ followers and those who check out her IG happenings, Kourtney gets candid regarding how a "working day" can bring many blessings, as well as bonding with her baby boy, Rocky. There's also the temporary discomfort of having others watch you constantly, despite the fact that Kourtney and her family has been in front of the reeling cameras since 2006.

During the promo shoot, which was done in February, Kourtney was three months postpartum and didn't feel "ready" yet. But she didn't allow her vulnerability to deflect her ambitions and share her story. From time to time, we have vulnerable episodes ourselves. By addressing the issues, it's with hope people will gain empathy and understanding because everyone will have their vulnerability exposed at some point.

The mom-of-four changed her mindset from having a negative veil to a more positive one. Her inspiration for the shift? Rocky and her sisters. They may have their occasional quarrels (all sisters do), but at the end of the day, Kim, Kourtney, Khloé, Kendall, and Kylie remain close.

As fun as getting dressed up and being "covered in makeup," Kourtney equally enjoys a "snuggly day at home in pajamas" following a working day. It's one of the most natural things in the world to do, so we definitely can relate to Kourtney's mood.

A look back at the Kardashian sisters' early filming days

As mentioned, the Kardashians have been camera-ready since 2006 and are still going strong. One of the best elements of sharing the shots is sharing the time the sisters have together. There's never a dull moment between them, that's for sure.

When Keeping Up With The Kardashians was in its early days in late Y2K, Kourtney, Kim, and Khloé frequented the "hot spots" together. One such spot is Las Vegas, and one Instagram user under the name of lovekillscouture showcased the sisters socializing in brightly colored summer dresses (we love the aqua on Kourtney) and walking together on the Vegas Strip.
