The Kardashians season 5 trailer is here and packed with family love and drama!
The Kardashians are back, baby, and this time, the family lets the drama and love fly into high gear. Hulu dropped the season 5 trailer ahead of its May 23rd premiere, and inside, it chronicles what the Kardashians and Scott Disick have been up to since season 4 wrapped.
Kourtney's pregnancy, Kim's "actress era," Kris's medical scare, and a feud between Kim and Khloé (?!) are the trailer's highlighted reels. If the previous seasons' 3 and 4 feuds between Kourtney and Kim were over the top, what's Khloé's and Kim's deal? Khloé's the least likely to stir up drama as she has been the neutral party, but something must've set her off, or Kim.
"You don't realize you sometimes have a stick up your [butt]," Kim tells Khloé while trying to speak with her. Yet, Khloé isn't taking any of her sister's guff, so she shouts back,
"You're going through a lot right now and you're taking it out on me."
It's not The Kardashians without a bit of drama, usually fueled by something easily rectifiable. In the end, though, the sisters make up whatever disagreement they had before and return to being loving and bonded. That's the important thing.
As the family inches closer to Kourtney's due date, the expecting mom again faces a crisis regarding her baby. As mentioned back in September, Kourtney underwent emergency fetal surgery as she was high-risk and her child's life was in danger. The surgery was successful, and she was surrounded by her family's support, and Kourtney will share more details about her experience in the new season.
"I had to go in for fetal surgery, which was terrifying," Kourtney says on screen while lying on a hospital bed with her husband, Travis Barker, at her side. The trailer zooms in on the Disneyland-themed baby shower, highlighting a happier moment before the surgery, perhaps as a foreshadowing of what's to come.
Elsewhere, Scott makes a monumental return to the series (in a big way) after negotiating a lucrative contract deal with Hulu for his appearances. But Scott is a member of the family, the father of Kourtney's oldest children, and despite his past grievances, it wouldn't feel right without him.
Kris has own own medical crisis to weave through as the doctor discloses she has a little tumor, and her daughters are distraught. One thing about the family is that they're close and have each other's back, no matter what.
"I always say I hit the jackpot in the family department," Kim says in a voiceover as she slopes down the hill while skiing with her kids and sisters.

Are The Kardashians ever slowing down?
The Kardashians and Jenners are one of America's hardest working families, with their billion-dollar businesses, ambitions, and being near the top of the media game. Despite what Kim noted for season 5, no, she and her clan are not slowing down, at least not anytime soon.
The Kardashians season 5 will drop on Hulu and Disney Plus
