Rocky Barker is growing up and becoming a world jet setter just like his famous parents, Kourtney Kardashian and his rockstar dad, Travis Barker. On a recent trip to England, the Poosh founder and her boy absorbed the fairytale-like landscape of The Cotswolds. The peaceful setting and historic Medieval architecture evoked a connection with nature and people.
So far, Rocky has visited Australia, Italy, the Bahamas, and most of the US, and he's not even two years old yet. That's quite a list of travel adventures, and he's going to have many more as he gets older. By the time Rocky is five, his international explorations will be near completion, something that nearly everyone dreams of.
As we're gearing toward summer's end, let's see Rocky's newest visit across the pond.
Rocky Barker and Kourtney Kardashian are all about the quiet vibe
On July 25, Kourtney uploaded a Carousel of her trip to The Cotswolds, a lovely little country region in South West England, where she and her family stayed. According to European expert and historian Rick Steves, the town is called Lower Slaughter and was once a booming industry center point for sheep's wool from the 1200s to the 1500s. Now, it's a tourist escape, where people take in what I like to call the "Grimms Aesthetic." The mood is an elixir of appreciating romance and fairy tales, often unattainable, but nevertheless, pleasurable.
The first snap from the Carousel is a black and white setting as Kourtney and Rocky head into town. She's dressed in all-black and has her classic Rocky moto boots on. In her arms is her son, who matches his mother, but instead of boots, he's wearing a tiny pair of Ugg booties.
Other photos include a cozy porch with rocking chairs, a historic castle, sunflowers, and a photo of the co-op where residents can watch a water mill. Then, Kourtney included adorable clips of ducks and swans doing their thing in the pond. Her voice could be heard over the clip, where she describes the long-necked bird as "beautiful."
"Dreamy storybook fairytale enchantment," the Lemme founder captions her post.
Kourtney, like all the others, is absorbing the "Grimms Aesthetic" of The Cotswolds. And who wouldn't, as it offers serenity from the busy everyday life, where one could curl up with a good book and let nature envelope you.
Looping back to Rocky, on his trip to Italy, he invests himself in gazing at the Portofino pier with the boats. He stands on the railing as Kourtney holds him safely, and in his hand, he's holding a little guitar. He definitely got that from his dad's side of the family.
