As we are nearing the middle of winter, stores will soon be bringing out Spring clothes. Hello pastel colors and warm weather, goodbye leaf-less trees and cold temperatures.
On Tuesday, January 14, Kim Kardashian's popular shape-wear brand, SKIMS, announced its upcoming Spring collection.
Within the latest drop, the multi-billion dollar company unveiled new styles and fabrics. On the official SKIMS Instagram, they shared some photos of a model wearing an all-black ensemble including an oversized trench coat, skim-fitted T-shirt, and wide-legged pants.
Their caption revealed the release date along with, "Give your wardrobe new enerfy with styles designed to effortlessly take you from winter to spring."
On the SKIMS website, fans can get a closer look at everything new in the collection underneath the "Coming Soon" tab. SKIMS added new pastel blue, pink, and brown colors to fan-favorite products like the slim-fitted T-shirt, foldover pants, the long-sleeved t-shirt, and more.
However, Kim's brand also added new fabrics including boyfriend fleece and cotton poplin. Fans can feel comfy and cozy in new Chevron stripe bras, shorts, and pants in blue and brown. Many jackets, pants, and sweatshirts come in the boyfriend fleece fabric and come in several different colors - including the new baby blue shade and a cream color titled Buff.
Other products in the collection include cotton rib t-shirts. bodysuits, and pants - all come in the new pastel brown color, Latte. Bras and underwear are also included in the collection and all come in blue and pink.
Clothes in the collection range from $18 to $168.
The Spring collection will be available to purchase on Thursday, January 16. However, if you have the SKIMS app, you will have early access to the collections - get yours before they're gone!
Speaking out
Beginning in early January, Los Angeles, California has come together to face the disastrous wildfires that have taken away so much from people. Many celebrities including Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, and many more have spoken out and/or donated money to the firefighters and to help Los Angeles rebuild.
On January 11, SKIMS shared a statement on Instagram regarding the tragedy, "As our community faces the devestation of the Los Angeles fires, our hearts are with all those impacted, and we are committed to helping during this challenging time. We have donated to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation providing critical resources to the heroic first responders protecting our city."

They continued, "Additionally, we are making a sizable donation of underwear, clothing, and socks to Baby2Baby to help those displaced by the fires. Many families have lost everything and are facing an uncertain future. Join us in supporting these incredible organizations by donating, volunteering, or raising awareness of the important work they do. Together, we can bring hope and relief to those who need it most."
They ended their statement by adding a link to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation.
