Kourtney Kardashian has gone back to work part-time before her son, Rocky Barker, turned a year old. She revealed on The Kardashians season 6, episode 9, "We're Going Camping!" which dropped on April 3rd, that she feels out-worldly with her baby.
As a new mom again, Kourtney wants to spend all of her time with Rocky, and that's a wonderful thing. There is nothing like bonding with your children during their earliest ages, and the Lemme founder enjoys every moment. However, she knows there will be times when she must separate from Rocky. But she's okay with it as long as it's a very short period.
Kourtney Kardashian explains why she feels like she's on another planet on The Kardashians
When speaking on The Skinny Confidential podcast in the episode, Kourtney opened up about her motherly role by combining work and feeling like it's her vision of God's Plan for her.
"While the baby's sleeping, I'm just very efficient and on it, these days, to just get things done so that I can get back into the bubble," Kourtney said in her confessional. She speaks the truth, as mothers (including my own) only have eyes for their children, and even when they're adults and live independently in their own lives, a mom will never stop looking after her kids.
The reality star shares that she has been blessed with "Baby Brain" which is a phenomena of being with your baby and thinking of anything else.
"I am on another planet," she reveals to the host, Lauryn Evarts Bosstick, "I have Baby Brain. I'm in a different world. I don't know what day of the week it is, to be honest."
Kourtney further explained what Baby Brian was and why she feels so connected to it.
"I love Baby Brain. I don't know exactly [what it is], I'm not a scientist, but supposedly, so that you, moms focus on their baby. You can't really think of other stuff and it's true, because I can't think of anything else."
When it came to balancing Lemme with her family life and why the reality star enjoys the fluidity of working at home on the wellness brand, she revealed to Bosstick the following:
"My focus is raising my kids. That's just my life. But then, I'm also a great multitasker and I do love it. Anything that I'm doing with the [Lemme] brand truly does not feel like work."
Kourtney also relishes the slower moments of motherhood because that's when she feels everything and everyone can be enjoyed, significantly when the kids are growing up as time goes by. Mason is already in high school, so she's absorbing as much as she can during this remarkable era.
"With my babies and my husband, I have a desire to slow down," she confesses. "It's nice to actually linger in the moment [and] not rushing so that you could experience everything. If you just slow everything down, then everyone could enjoy and experience things more together."
100% agree Kourtney.
