True Thompson is putting on her big girl sneakers as she heads off to her first day of second grade, and mom Khloé Kardashian couldn't be prouder! It's fun for kids and adults alike, as it offers a connection through making memories and sharing achievements together.
For the past three years (with this year included), Khloé has uploaded a series of "First Day of" posts on True on Instagram, each one marking a new school year. In 2023, her daughter entered her kindergarten era, and the following year (2024), she entered the first grade. True is growing up quickly, and Khloé just takes it with heavy emotion as a loving mother does.
This year, the 7-year-old is entering the second-grade classroom, where she will learn a plethora of new things that will only sculpt her life for the better. In addition to learning, True will likely befriend several of her classmates, given that she embodies a charismatic warmth and adoring personality. It's hard to imagine that she's nearly all grown up.
Khloé Kardashian is 'so proud' of True Thompson as she goes off to second grade
As mentioned, Khloé shares her children's milestones on Instagram, and True's first day back to school wasn't an exception. The Good American founder blew up her followers' feeds on Friday, September 5. In her Carousel, she had a colorful balloon display that featured a green bookworm with glasses and a pink hardcover book backdrop with the title, "First Day [of] 2nd Grade."
True wore her school uniform for the photoshoot, complete with a silver necklace, white sneakers, and her million-dollar smile. Joining her in her school journey was naturally her moter, her baby brother Tatum, and making a rare appearance is her daddy, Tristan Thompson. Say what you want about the NBA player, as he's an adoring father to his children.
We love how Khloé and her son are matched in a relaxed white tee and black bottoms, except her 3-year-old is barefoot while she is wearing white socks and reflective Nikes. She might have finished her morning gym session before sending True off to class, as it's part of the reality star's daily routine.
In her dedicated caption, the happy mom writes from her heart as she reflects on True's substantial growth and becoming the sweet person that she is. Khloé even mentions just how close her children are and how it's "everything" to her.
"Just like that, my baby is off to 2nd grade! Time is flying faster than I ever imagined — it feels like I blinked and my baby grew up! I’m so proud of the respectful, sweet, loving, smart, beautiful girl she is. But man, this all happens so quickly. In a blink.
