Kris Jenner admits she can't say 'Caitlyn'

Kris Jenner is probably the slowest to warm up to Caitlyn Jenner now that her ex-husband has transformed into a woman. Caitlyn’s children all seemed to accept the change and have been very supportive. Kris went silent on the subject of Caitlyn for months and is just recently starting to talk about how she feels.

In a recent interview with Access Hollywood, Kris opened up to Billy Bush and some of her confessions were surprising. Kris Jenner admitted to Bush that she still can’t call Caitlyn by her chosen name. It’s still just too difficult for Kris to do so instead, she calls her ex-husband “Jenner.” At least she is respectful enough not to insist on calling her “Bruce.”

When asked about all the changes taking place in her family recently, including Caitlyn’s very public transition, Kris responded “It’s hard, you know, it’s really, really hard.” Then the Kardashian/Jenner matriarch said, “What I have realized in all of this is that everyone handles stuff a different way. No matter what it is, you know. We’re all people. We all have different emotions.”

During a recent episode of I am Cait, Kris met up with Caitlyn to talk about their relationship. It seems that both Kris and Caitlyn want to get along for the sake of their family and so that everyone will be comfortable during family events. They even took a sweet selfie together and Caitlyn snuck a kiss on Kris Jenner’s cheek.
