How Kanye West surprised Kim Kardashian on her birthday
It’s been a really rough week for the Kardashians but that didn’t stop Kanye West from planning a surprise birthday party for Kim Kardashian. Kim turned 35 years old yesterday and her rapper hubby wasn’t going to let the monumental day pass by without celebration.
We are pretty sure that planning a surprise party for the likes of Kim Kardashian isn’t anything like planning for normal folks. That’s why there were no plastic cups of punch and the party didn’t happen in someone’s living room.
Instead, Kanye West rented out a theater for a private screening of the new Steve Jobs movie. He told Kim that they were going to see the flick together by themselves. When they showed up to see the film though, Kim and Kanye were not alone.

Kim posted a photo of her beautiful birthday cake to Instagram and told her fans all about her birthday surprise. The caption to Kim Kardshian’s photo said, “My husband never ceases the amaze me! He rented out the entire movie theater to screen the new Steve Jobs (It’s sooooo good BTW) and had all of my family & close friends come dressed up as their best pregnant Kim look (fake baby bumps provided on arrival!) Not sure if that was to make me feel less huge or just a fun cool theme but I loved it & had the best time ever, feeling so very comfortable eating churros with a bunch of pregnant women! Just what I needed, the perfect chill yummy food birthday!!!!”
Guests at Kim Kardashian’s surprise birthday party were told to dress up like the pregnant guest of honor. Upon arrival they were all given a fake baby bump so they could impersonate Kim, who is currently almost 8 months pregnant.
Most of Kim Kardashian’s family were in attendance. Kim was photographed with her mother Kris Jenner and sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kylie Jenner. Kendall Jenner was also at the party. Khloe Kardashian understandably didn’t come to the surprise movie party. Khloe is still sticking by Lamar Odom’s side as he recovers from a near fatal drug overdose.
