Khloe Kardashian’s love triangle: What is really going on with Lamar Odom and James Harden?

Khloe Kardashian has been Lamar Odom’s rock as he recovers from a near-fatal drug overdose. Even though Kardashian and Odom were in the middle of a lengthy divorce, Khloe ran to his side and never left Lamar until he was stable.

Then things got messy because despite her marriage to Lamar Odom, Khloe Kardashian was actively dating Houston Rockets player James Harden. The two seemed to really be hitting it off and had even just celebrated Harden’s birthday with a pretty amazing fireworks display.

Then tragedy struck and Khloe Kardashian literally dropped everything to help Lamar Odom through a true crisis. Khloe was so dedicated to Lamar’s recovery that she stayed with him non-stop, even missing Kim Kardashian’s birthday party because she wasn’t ready to leave Lamar alone yet.

Fast forward a couple weeks and Lamar Odom is doing much better. He reportedly no longer needs a kidney transplant and has been moved out of an intensive care unit to continue his recovery. So what would a Kardashian do? Well Khloe opted to head out of town to watch James Harden’s season opening game against the Golden State Warriors.

Khloe’s appearance at Harden’s basketball game pretty much told it all. James and Khloe were definitely not over. Where does that leave us with her marriage to Lamar Odom though? Lamar and Khloe reportedly canceled their divorce and many Keeping Up With The Kardashians fans rejoiced, believing that Khloe and Lamar would make amends and fix their marriage.

That is not the case though and Khloe Kardashian has made it pretty clear that her heart belongs to James Harden. Harden has also been very supportive of Khloe’s insistence on being with Lamar while he recovers.

Here is where it gets blurry. There are conflicting reports about the Lamar Odom/James Harden love triangle. Some say that Khloe Kardashian really was interested in rekindling her relationship with Lamar Odom but only if the former NBA star was willing to kick drugs for good. They claim that Lamar Odom has since allowed his drug dealer to visit and often requests stronger medication from the hospital staff. Of course in this version of events, Khloe Kardashian is angry at Lamar for already going back on their deal and ran back into the arms of James Harden.

    • The other version claims that Khloe Kardashian never intended to leave James Harden. Instead she “put the relationship on hold” meaning that they would be together as soon as she took care of business. As much as Khloe loves Lamar, dealing with is overdose was just business and the divorce will soon be refiled. There were reports that the entire reason for canceling the divorce was so that Lamar Odom could continue receiving medical care using Kardashian’s insurance.

    Which version of events is really the truth? At this point who knows? What we do know though is that Khloe Kardashian has been showing up to James Harden’s basketball games and then has been seen out and about with the Rockets star afterward. Kardashian is still spending time with Lamar Odom and making sure he gets treatment but she’s not camped out by his side anymore.

    Lamar Odom has a birthday coming up on November 6. According to reports, he wants nothing more than to spend it with Khloe Kardashian. Will Khloe show up for Lamar’s special day?
