Be Kanye West and Jay-Z had a record where they performed ‘Ni**as in Paris’ 12 times in one show. Travis Scott broke that by performing ‘Goosebumps’ 14 times.

Travis Scott has broken a world record that was previously held by none other than Kanye West and Jay-Z. The record is for most performances of a song by an artist at a show.

The song he chose to perform a record-breaking amount of times was ‘Goosebumps,’ a hit off his latest album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight. Scott performed the song a whopping 14 times in a row.

The previous record was 12 performances of one song, that song being ‘Ni**as in Paris’ by Kanye West and Jay-Z. Where Travis Scott did it 14 times in a row, West and Jay did a little bit differently.

Instead of in a row, they performed ‘Ni**as in Paris’ after each song they did in concert. Literally, every other song the whole concert  was ‘Ni**as in Paris.’ That sounds like a pretty pumped up show, if you ask me.

Before West broke the record, he said to the Paris crowd:

"“Y’all have to remember this moment for the rest of your life. This will be the most times this song has been performed and the most times anybody ever performed a song at a concert, and y’all here tonight to be a part of it, Paris.”"

Unfortunately, that record is no longer now that Travis Scott performed his ‘Goosebumps’ 14 times in a row.

Here’s video of that awesome moment:

I think the craziest part of it was the crowd was just as engaged on the first performance of the song as they were on the 14th performance. Shout out to that crowd for sticking with him that whole time.

The show was in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Friday, May 12th during his Birds Eye View Tour and it wasn’t the only crazy antics seen on the tour.

In fact, just one day later during a show in Arkansas, Travis Scott was actually arrested for ‘inciting a riot’ at his show. Telling people to come up to the front, fans rushed with some being injured, including a police officer.

As a result, Travis Scott spent a total of 12 minutes in jail before continuing his tour. It was also reported that fans at one of his earlier shows were jumping from the second and third story balconies, adding to the recklessness.

That’s all part of the memory, though. I’m saying, why arrest him for having a good time?

I’m sure this isn’t the last time we will hear of Travis Scott turning up at his shows. In fact, I expect it every time.

I can only wonder if Kanye West and Jay-Z plan on taking back the throne to that world record… We shall see.
