Kris Jenner admits she has amplified security after a few scary incidents that have impacted her daughters.

It’s no secret that Kris Jenner is protective of her famous family. Recently, the Kardashian matriarch opened up and admitted that the whole Kardashian-Jenner family has increased security in recent months. Kris also said that she has armed guards who patrol her property to ensure that no one gets in without permission.

The Kardashians and the Jenners live a very public life and because of their reality TV fame, they don’t have much of a choice but to continue putting their personal lives on display. There are definitely risks to putting so much information out there for the public to consume and we all learned that back in October when Kim Kardashian was robbed in Paris.

Kim’s robbery isn’t even the only incident that has rocked the Kardashians and Jenners. Back in March, Kendall Jenner was the target of a home robbery. The 21-year old model was not home at the time and only realized hours later that her home had been broken into when she noticed that around $200,000 worth of jewelry was missing.

In the wake of the robbery, Kendall Jenner has said that she plans to move into a new home. Proving that she means business, Kendall has even started house shopping in the Los Angeles area.

Kris Jenner recently made it clear that the safety of her family is most important to her. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kris says that her whole family is protected now by armed guards. In contrast to the way the Kardashian-Jenner family used to do things, Kris says now they are protected by trained professionals who are licensed to carry firearms.

Kris also said that the family has changed the way that they share information on social media now. Rather than tweeting and sharing photos on Instagram as they happen, they will wait and share things later, after their appearances are over. She used the example of Disneyland and said that rather than sharing pictures while they are in the park, they wait until the day is over to let fans know what they are up to.

The downside to all of this is that many fans would watch the Kardashian-Jenner social media accounts in the past while looking for clues about where the famous family might be. The idea is to brush elbows with the reality TV celebrities or maybe even get a photo with them. Unfortunately, it was revealed that social media oversharing is also how Kim was studied in order to be robbed so these new changes for the Kardashians and Jenners are necessary in order to keep them safe now and in the future.
