Ever wonder how Kim Kardashian and Kanye West met?

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are a power couple in every sense and how they met makes their relationship even more special.

It turns out that Kanye West knew who Kim Kardashian was long before he ever met her face to face. The “Stronger” rapper was reportedly “infatuated” with Kim for years before they ever met. Refinery 29 reports that Kanye had his eye on his current wife all the way back when Kim was still with Ray J (we did say all the way back right?)

Apparently, when the sex tape that Kim Kardashian made with Ray J was leaked, Kanye West wasted no time watching the adult film. As the story goes, the same day that Kim Kardashian’s sex tape was released, Kanye was in the studio working on his megahit “Flashing Lights.” He was sitting at his computer while the vocals were being recorded but he got so caught up in Kim’s tape that they had to redo a take because he was so distracted that he didn’t even hear it.

It wasn’t until later that Kanye actually met Kim in person and that story is pretty interesting too. In 2007, Kim agreed to star with Kanye in an adult puppet show that he had created. The show was titled Alligator Boots and was definitely intended for an adult audience.

Kanye West was guest hosting the pilot episode for the puppet show but wanted to add Kim Kardashian to the mix. Against the wishes of Daniel Kellison, who was producing the puppet show with Kanye, Kim was eventually brought on to do a skit. Kellison reportedly wanted Paris Hilton to star over Kim Kardashian but it was also reported that having Kim do the show was one of the things that Kanye was most adamant about.

While Alligator Boots never did get picked up, it was the show that ultimately brought Kim and Kanye together although they didn’t start dating until many years later. According to Kanye, both he and Kim were involved in relationships on and off for years after their first meeting and he wasn’t able to actually take her out until much later.

We all know what happened once Kim accepted Kanye’s advances and the two became a couple. Ever since, Kanye has gone out of his way to shower Kim with adoration and praise, making sure that each milestone they celebrate together is over-the-top.  Kanye has gone all out for Kim just like the extravagant way that he proposed in San Francisco or the even more extravagant wedding.
