Kim Kardashian goes off on Snapchat, apologizes after sticking up for Jeffree Star

Kim Kardashian attempted to reveal the colors of her upcoming powder contour kits but things got tense after Jeffree Star told her that she was doing it wrong. 

Kim Kardashian is having great success with KKW Beauty and as we all know, great success always comes at a price. In this case, the price is extreme criticism from makeup artists like Jeffree Star, who has been in the business for a long time and who obviously can’t stand that Kim just waltzes right in and makes $14 million from her debut.

It all started when Kim was trying to show of swatches of her upcoming powder contour kits on her own arm. Apparently, she was doing it all wrong.

Jeffree Star was was one of the first makeup artists to speak up. He tweeted, “Umm… Kim what is going on with those new swatches?? Looks like chalk.”

Kim asks fans to lay off Jeffree Star

Kim obviously wasn’t trying to go to war with Jeffree Star so she stepped in to stop her fans from the social media assault. She responded by tweeting, “I see that my fans are totally hating on someone like Jeffree Star for being honest about my struggle swatches. But because of his remarks I’m learning.”

“Guys, like, I see you being so petty, bringing up things in his past where he was negative. But he’s also apologized for those things and I get that it’s a serious deal if you say like racial things but I do believe in people changing and people that apologize, I will give them the benefit of the doubt.”

“I know better than anyone that I hate when people bring up my past or mistakes that I’ve made in the past so like, let him live life. I welcome honest comments about my products and because of it, I’m swatching better now.”

“So everyone get off his a**, let’s not be so negative, we’re all in this together. There’s room for all of us. Love you Jeffree!”

Knowing that there are plenty of people who still despise and accuse him of being racist, Kim said, “And I want to make one last thing clear, I do not defend people that are racist and I’m very against it. But if someone claims that they have changed, I would love to give them the benefit of the doubt.”

Kim continued on about how she really hopes that people who have said they changed their racist thinking actually did so for the sake of her own children.

It turns out that people really don’t like Jeffree Star and think that maybe he hasn’t changed at all. They continued to rant against the popular makeup artist and even started to criticize Kim for taking up for him.

That’s when Kim, who’s clearly had enough drama for the day lashed out on Snapchat. She said, “I want you guys to see this pimple here. You’re stressing me the f*** out.”

Maybe Kim’s breakout will inspire her to come up with a lovely line of concealers next. She’ll need it because this story still isn’t over.

Kim changes her mind, apologizes for defending Jeffree Star

After Kim basically told everyone that she wanted them to get off Jeffree’s back about some really racist stuff he said, a whole new wave of criticism started. Kim was lambasted for daring to suggest that anyone should forgive Star, considering she wasn’t even part of the group that he discriminated against and offended.

It seems that Kim understood exactly where they were coming from and decided to recant her defense of Jeffree Star. So Kim took to Snapchat again to apologize for her earlier rant. She claimed that she didn’t know enough about the Jeffree Star racist situation to make a comment like she did.

It looks like it’s been a pretty rough day for Kim Kardashian, whose excitement over the upcoming powder contour kits was overshadowed by her inability to properly swatch turning into the great Jeffree Star debate.
