Taylor Swift’s new single drops, she took shots at Kim and Kanye as expected

As promised, Taylor Swift dropped her new single ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ and as expected, there were multiple shots fired at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.

There’s something to be said about being predictable and Taylor Swift’s latest single is just that. The queen of pop finally slithered back out of hiding to drop “Look What You Made Me Do.” While she never came right out and said Kim or Kanye’s name, we know who was on her mind when she wrote it.

“I don’t like your little games/Don’t like your tilted stage,” Taylor starts out singing in her new song.

Clearly, the tilted stage is a nod at Kanye West’s custom stage from the Saint Pablo tour. The animated music video starts out with those lyrics projected onto chess pieces. Considering that everything about Swift’s act is orchestrated, it’s safe to assume she was taking a little jab at Kim Kardashian in the video by flicking the queen off the board.

After all, it was Kim who ultimately outed Taylor for lying to the world about her shock over Kanye’s song, “Famous.” In any case, Swift continues to sing about the it couple who finally put her on blast.

“The role you made me play of the fool/No, I don’t like you,” Taylor sings in the haunting single that is so much different from all of her other music.

Despite deserving it, Taylor Swift proves that revenge is on her mind

Apparently, Taylor Swift is a Game of Thrones fan because it seems she’s taking a note from Arya Stark’s play book. Another line in “Look What You Made Me Do” references her own list of names and it’s pretty clear that Kim and Kanye are on it.

“I’ve got a list of names and yours is in red, underlined,” Taylor sings.

So we get it, Taylor Swift does not like Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. Who would after they outed her publicly for putting Kanye on blast and lying about giving him her blessing.

Kim proved that Taylor was the snake and that’s why she got swamped with snake emojis on Instagram first. She deserved it.

What exactly has Kim Kardashian done to deserve getting all the snake emojis back? That’s right, nothing. She just went on being Kim while Taylor sat in her writing room and stewed over getting busted. She sang about that too.

“Maybe I got mine but you’ll all get yours,” Taylor says in her new revenge anthem.

Now we just have to wonder what exactly she means and what kind of revenge Swift is planning. Or maybe she’ll just rely on karma since the song clearly states that she’s waiting on that too.

“The old Taylor can’t come to the phone right now,” Taylor says matter of factly in her new song. “Why?  … ’cause she’s dead.”

That’s right, when Kim outed Taylor for lying about Kanye, it killed her reputation. After all, Kanye did call Taylor to talk to her about his new song and her role in it and she clearly gave her blessing. Kim had it all recorded.

Taylor didn’t know that when she tried to play the victim and let Kanye play the villain. With a much darker musical offering than ever before, Taylor Swift is trying to redeem herself. She should have just apologized.
