Scott Disick had a psych emergency in August and we’re just learning about it

Scott Disick loves to party and based on a new report outing him for an August emergency, it looks like he may be partying too hard. 

It’s rare that the Kardashians keep a secret. With so many watching them and cameras rolling so much of the time, they have become accustomed to just sharing everything with the world.

It turns out there is one secret that they didn’t share about Scott Disick. Despite the silence, it only took a few weeks for the news to break anyway.

According to US Weekly, Scott Disick was taken to a psychiatric unit last month where he was held on a 5150 hold. For those who may not be familiar, a 5150 hold is when authorities make you stay in a psychiatric hospital for evaluation because they believe you are a danger to yourself or others.

A person can be held for up to 72 hours using this type of psychiatric hold. According to reports, Scott Disick was not kept in the hospital for that long.

Details regarding the incident are scarce but the Los Angeles Fire Department did confirm that there was a visit to Disick’s home.

“On August 18th LAFD responded to a call from the home of Scott Disick,” the Los Angeles Fire Department told US Weekly in a statement. “Lost Hills Sheriffs were also on the scene shortly there after. LAFD officials transported Mr. Disick to a local hospital. No other information will be given out at this time.”

Despite having been broken up for more than two years, Kourtney Kardashian ditched her boy toy Younes Bendjima and was by Scott’s side. They aren’t getting back together. This is very much a Khloe and Lamar situation where she just wants to make sure her baby daddy is okay.

It’s no secret that Kourtney has been worried about Scott. In all honesty, many KUWTK fans have wondered about Lord Disick’s health considering how hard he drinks and parties.

Scott has been in and out of rehab many times over the years. So far, he’s not been successful at managing sobriety. In the last year or so, he seems to have just given up.

Even though Scott Disick has said in the past that his kids are his priority, he still has some major demons to deal with. Hopefully, this last emergency will be the wake-up call for Scott.
