The Kardashians celebrate 10-years of reality television with fans and foes

While some are angry the Kardashians have great success, others are rooting them on for 10 more years.

Tonight the highly-publicized Keeping Up With the Kardashians 10-year special will be airing on E!. A lot has happened since this family arrived on the scene in 2007. The Kardashians have influenced every aspect of media from reality television to paid Instagram endorsements. No stone is left unturned by one of the Kardashian or Jenner women.

The family has taken a lot of heat because of their popularity. The Kardashians are famous for being famous, and it has worked for them.

Kim Kardashian made the family the most money with her sex tape scandal, now bringing in $50 million a year for her contributions to society. The Jenner girls come in behind their older, most successful sister. Khloe and Kourtney are less about the fame and money, but each pulls in around $10 million or less for endorsements.

Everywhere you look, there are Kardashian haters. They scream from the rooftops about how horrible the women are and how repulsed they would be if their daughters grew up like that.

Fortunately for them, this type of fame is unique and not contagious like a disease. Even some of the bigger publications feel the need to recap what the women have done over the last decade, including throwing shade. Yeah New York Post, I see you over there.

There is so much for the Kardashians to look forward to in the coming years. The next 10 years will hopefully be documented on reality television as well.

Next: Can you believe what Perez Hilton said about Kylie?

With the number of children Kris Jenner has, it will be a big ordeal. Fans have watched Kendall and Kylie grow up on air. Reality television is unique and the Kardashians helped to make it such a big deal. Without them, reality television may have been a thing of the past.
