Kathy Griffin and this odd piece of art are neighbors with Kim Kardashian

Living in Bel-Air means having celebrity neighbors and in this case, Kim Kardashian’s famous neighbor happens to be Kathy Griffin. 

What do you collect when you’re so famous that you could have just about anything? For Kathy Griffin, the answer may be art. Not just any old art though. According to People, Kathy shared a prized piece of her collection with Kim Kardashian on Saturday and let’s just say that it’s both shocking and shockingly good.

Kim was Snapchatting with Kathy at her house over the weekend. They were even playing with the filters and just being silly.

“Alright guys, I’m here with my neighbor – ” Kim said before she was cut off.

“Kathy Griffin!!,” The comedian said. “I have short hair, it’s a long story. And a painting done by — what were we watching the other night?”

“The Menendez special,” Kim responded. “Look who painted this for her.”

That’s when Kathy Griffin decided to show off a really neat portrait that she was given.

So there are two things here that we’re trying to fully digest. One is that Kathy Griffin and Kim Kardashian are not only friends, but they watch true crime TV together? Also, Erik Menendez is painting Kathy Griffin from prison?

Kim Kardashian was quick to point out the artist who created the beautiful image of Kathy Griffin. It turns out that the painter was Erik Menendez, one-half of the parent-killing brothers that are currently spending the rest of their lives behind bars.
