Kim Kardashian will get a Paris Hilton wedding invite

Kim Kardashian was aiming for a royal invite to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s nuptials but she’ll have to settle for Paris Hilton and Chris Zylka. 

When it was announced that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were engaged, Kim Kardashian sent a lavish congratulations gift. Many suggested that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was trying to score an invite to the royal wedding. It looks like she probably won’t end up on that guest list but there is a wedding coming up that Kim will be getting invited to.

Last week Paris Hilton announced that she accepted Chris Zylka’s proposal along with a stunning 20-carat diamond engagement ring. Soon after the announcement, KUWTK fans started buzzing about whether or not Kim Kardashian might get an invite. Certainly, she sent a congratulatory gift, right?

It turns out, there’s no need to worry because Paris already confirmed that Kim is totally getting invited. Despite their shaky history, Paris acted like that was never even a question when she answered, “Of course!” when TMZ asked her if her former BFF would be there.

There definitely were some questions about whether Paris would want Kim at her special day or not, especially given their history. The two socialites were best friends prior to Keeping Up With The Kardashians but their friendship fell apart right as Kim’s career started to take off.

There were always rumors that Paris Hilton started to resent her best friend for rising above her in popularity. While neither Paris or Kim ever shared the details about how or why their friendship fell apart, it was always assumed it was due to Kim Kardashian’s skyrocketing fame.

Over the years, Kim and Paris came face-to-face on a few occasions and always were cordial. However, a lot of KUWTK fans still remember when Kim and Paris were best friends and hoped that someday they could get back to that friendship.

While the odds are certainly against Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton calling each other best friend ever again, there’s still room for some form of friendship. With Paris settling down, she and Chris would make a great couple for Kim and Kanye to double date with since Beyonce still doesn’t seem that receptive. Now if only Paris will start having kids…
