Lamar Odom tries to throw shade at Khloe Kardashian, expertly shut down by sister Kim

Normally supportive, Lamar Odom actually tried to throw some shade at Khloe Kardashian when asked how he knew their marriage was over. 

Earlier this week, Lamar Odom was a guest on BET’s Mancave. While he was there, Lamar was asked how he knew for sure that his marriage to Khloe Kardashian was over. Rather than taking the high road, Lamar opted to throw a bit of shade.

“I understand when it’s over, it’s over. When she was with her second or third NBA ball player, I could see that,” Odom quipped.

Pretty funny, right? Except that Khloe Kardashian only moved on with another NBA player (and yeah, maybe even another after that) after he cheated on her repeatedly and began abusing drugs.

As a matter of fact, Khloe and Lamar were separated for over a year when he decided to party it up in a Las Vegas brothel. She was dating James Harden at the time and dropped everything to rush back to Lamar and stay by his side until he was healthy.

Khloe took the high road. She easily could have left Lamar in that hospital by himself. She also could have continued on with the divorce and moved on with her life when he needed her the most and let him figure out how to get insurance coverage and what therapies he needed. She didn’t though, because Khloe took the high road.

Well, it seems that Keeping Up With The Kardashians fans aren’t the only ones who gasped when they heard what Lamar had to say about Khloe. Kim Kardashian was also shocked and once again, the KUWTK star proved that sometimes you just have to sink to their level and take a shot right back. It was epic.

Kim Kardashian did her clapping back via Twitter. On a tweet publicizing the Mancave appearance, Kim wrote, “Or second or third brothel.”

Kim wasn’t the only one who spoke up for Khloe while Lamar was busy throwing shade. The former NBA star hasn’t commented or (ahem) apologized for what he said about his former wife. However, a quick look at the comments on his Instagram pages prove that no one is letting Lamar Odom off easy for what he said. One commenter who is clearly a Kardashian fan even wrote:

“You know, you have some nerve to say that you knew it was over with Khloe after her 2nd or 3rd NBA player. If you were trying to shade, it was an epic fail. You still haven’t taken responsibility for YOUR actions! Newsflash Lamar! Being married to a drug addict who cheats is no day at the beach! Here’s a tip: Try working the 12 steps! It’s kept me clean for 28 years.”
