What will Kylie Jenner name her baby?
Kylie Jenner’s baby is finally here and now Keeping Up With The Kardashians fans are wondering what she might name the baby girl.
The long wait is over and despite never confirming her pregnancy, Kylie Jenner gave birth to a baby girl on February 1. Yesterday, Kylie graced us all with an apology for her long absence (along with an explanation) and a wonderful 11 and a half minute video giving the highlights of her pregnancy. Now, KUWTK fans want to know what name Kylie and Travis will give their baby and we think she’s been dropping clues all along.
Many Kylie Jenner fans really think that her new daughter’s name will have something to do with butterflies. After all, the flying insect does have some significance in her relationship with Travis Scott. They even got matching butterfly tattoos just months before news of her pregnancy was leaked.
Let’s explore the butterfly theory
So far, a few butterfly related names have been thrown around. KUWTK fans really went wild with speculation after Kylie showed off her colorful butterfly necklace as well as the nursery, which is fully stocked with butterflies. Some think it has to be way more than just a theme.
Aside from “Butterfly” itself, some believe Kylie may be considering Mariposa, which is Spanish for butterfly. They think that her new lip color, aptly named Posie K, is a hint that Kylie is leaning this direction for her baby’s name.

Is it possible that Kylie could be planning to name her child Mariposa and then nickname her Posie? Is “K” the first initial of her middle name? We have so many questions!
Others have wondered if Kylie might name her daughter Monarch. It’s also butterfly related, but also royalty related. Monarch would fit nicely alongside cousins named Reign and Saint. Considering how far off the beaten path that many of the Kardashian baby names have been, anything is possible.

What if it’s not butterfly related?
While it’s looking like Kylie Jenner’s baby will probably get a butterfly-related baby name, there is always the possibility that she will go another direction. It wouldn’t be the first time that a KarJenner hinted at one thing and went a totally different direction. I mean, who thought Chicago would be the name of Kim’s baby? Or North for that matter?
There have been rumblings that Kylie might be considering naming her baby Love. There have also been jokes that she might name the newborn Lip Kit or even Kylighter. Hopefully, she won’t.
