Jay-Z appeared on David Letterman’s Netflix show and spilled the details on his relationship with Kanye West. 

It has been a rough road for Kanye West and his friend and mentor, Jay-Z. The two have beefed on and off, but it looks like things have finally been settled. Jay-Z knew West when he was just coming up out of Chicago before he even had a record deal to talk about.

Recently, Jay-Z talked to David Letterman on his Netflix series. Of course, the subject of Kanye West had to come up. There was a lot of talk about their situation, but no details were given. Jay-Z said he and West are brothers. They have fought like siblings and have made up as well. He knew him before anyone else knew him, something that was special. In fact, he recalled Kanye interrupting a studio session and rapping for them. The determination he had was something else.

Their relationship has been different since Kim Kardashian and Kanye West hooked up. Rumors of a strained relationship between Kim and Beyonce have been floating around. This has also affected Jay-Z and West, which has made headlines. There was even talk that getting pregnant was a competition between the two women.
