Is Blac Chyna about to take New York City?

Blac Chyna may be looking to put a little distance between herself and the Kardashians. 

The latest Blac Chyna rumors revolve around a move to the East Coast. Page Six reports that Rob Kardashian’s ex is considering a move to New York City. Normally, I’d be a fan of getting her as far away from the Keeping Up With The Kardashians family as possible but what about Dream?

Talk of an NYC move came about recently while Blac Chyna was visiting. She was in town for the Dr. Janna Andrews’ Kicked It in Heels breast-cancer-awareness event over the weekend. While she was there, Chyna was spotted shopping at Robert Cavalli and she seems to really fit into the New York City lifestyle.

“She was in town taking meetings and said she loves NYC. She said she was actually thinking about relocating,” a source told Page Six. 

Now, we have to wonder why New York City is suddenly appealing to Blac Chyna. It’s not like she’s never been there before. In fact, Chyna has lived in several places in the US, having gained most of her fame after stripping in Miami. Is her urge to move recently because of all the drama going on back in Los Angeles? Let’s list the reasons she might want to move.

The Kardashians essentially own L.A. As long as Blac Chyna lives there, Rob and the rest of his family will have a good idea what she’s up to. Every misstep by Chyna is ammunition for the Kardashians to go for full custody. Do you think they won’t?

On the other hand, it is convenient living so close in order to pick up and drop off baby Dream. What would happen with their shared custody if Chyna moves away? Will she just leave her daughter there?

The death of Blac Chyna’s assistant is due to cause some huge legal problems for her. The woman’s family is already gearing up for a lawsuit, claiming that Chyna didn’t provide worker’s compensation. She could be on the hook for millions. Would a fresh start in NYC make dealing with that death and all of the legal issues behind it a bit easier?

Or is this just about shopping and culture? After all, Blac Chyna was spotted in the city while on a shopping trip. That same source that told on Chyna for wanting to move also reportedly said she was buying designer clothes for Dream without even looking at the price tags.
