All the Kardashian glam squad members you should know
Much like contouring or lip kits, the Kardashian/Jenner family gave a new meaning to the word “glam squad.” The Kardashian glam squad is just one part of what makes the fam so fabulous.
As the Kardashian/Jenner family began to grow more famous, so has their glam routine. According to Kim she spends a total of 2 hours in hair and makeup daily. (And as an ex-Sephora employee, that’s a whole lot of time – even for me!). So who are these people that spend so much time, working with the KarJenners to create the looks blow up social media and destined to be recreated a thousand times over?! Here’s a few of our favorite Kardashian glam squad members that you should be following, if you aren’t already!
Mario Dedivanovic
Kim and Mario met on a shoot in 2008, and it was love at first sight. Since then the duo has been creating iconic beauty looks, including this year’s ultra-defined Met Gala eyes and the essential Kim contour. Aside from his work with Kardashian/Jenners, Mario’s a beauty pioneer in his own right and teaches a series of makeup masterclasses to sold out crowds around the globe. Kim’ s even dedicated a whole KKW Beauty collection to Mario in celebration of their long friendship.
Jen Atkin
Like Mario, Jen is another industry game changer. She’s widely recognized has the hardest working woman in hair! After becoming the go-to celeb hair stylist, Jen decided to up her status one more notch to boss babe and founded her own haircare line Ouai. Jen’s been a member of the Kardashian glam squad since it’s beginnings, and has perfected Kim’s signature sleek and straight look. This season of KKUTK marks the first time that Jen’s made her on camera confessional debut while recounting her night out in Paris with Kendall.
Hrush Achemyan
Makeup artist Hrush Achemyan was thoroughly Instagram stalked by Kim before asking to join the glam squad. (Confirming that Kim is really just one of us!). Hrush is responsible for creating the glowy and bronzed KarJenner aesthetic that’s totally defined celeb glam trends. A beauty influencer in her own right, Hrush has over 2.3 million IG followers and has even worked with Tarte to develop her signature eyeshadow palette.
Justine Marjan
Khloe’s amazing high ponytails and Kim’s braided hair, are all the makings of hairstylist Justine Marjan. When she’s not busy creating the Kardashian’s most snatched looks, Justine is a story editor for the beauty super site Mane Addicts where she spills the secrets to recreating some of her most requested celebrity looks.
Ariel Tejada
It’s safe to say that Ariel is to Kylie as Mario is to Kim – total beauty soulmates. Ariel is the steady hand behind all the jaw-dropping Kylie Cosmetics campaigns and is known for brining a bit of edge to the KarJenner glow. He’s described himself and Kylie as team and each glam look is an “explosion” of their two styles.
Chris Applebaum
The man behind the celebrity “glass hair” trend, Chris Applebaum has been a Karjenner go-to for years. Chris has proven to be a style chameleon, and has assisted Kim through some of her most notable hair transformations including this summer’s notorious neon yellow locks and her high-shine lob.
