Some time ago, the Kardashian and Jenner sisters started their own paid apps and websites. This follows shortly after Kendall Jenner shut down her app due to her anxiety.
No more Kardashian and Jenner style tips coming right to your phone, the sisters have decided to shut down their apps and websites. Each of the sisters had their own app and website where the could connect to fans for only $2.99 a month.
They aren’t the first family members to decide to do this, Kendall already shut hers down according to Page Six due to her anxiety. Now, the other sisters are following suit but without giving us an exact reason for their shut down. If I had to guess, it’s probably too much to keep up with their personal businesses, jobs and children. I have one of those things and still don’t feel like I would have time to run an app. When would I watch Netflix?
The sisters made the announcement of the shut down on Wednesday saying how much they’ve enjoyed it but have made the decision to end it in the new year. The apps saw a very successful launch when they were released. According to Page Six, 1.5 million people downloaded Kylie’s app within the first five days of launch, a huge number for app downloads.
Kylie’s sisters saw success as well but not near as much as Kylie did. Kim also got a nice boost from the release of her Kimojis. All in all, it looks like its been a good run, but a lot of people probably don’t really want to pay to see stuff about the Kardashians, no offense guys, it was a good thought.
