A few months before Mr. & Mrs. Smith debuted, Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt announced their divorce. A year and a half later, Angelina Jolie confessed she had fallen in love with Brad on the set of the film, noted the Huffington Post.

“It took until, really, the end of the shoot for us, I think, to realize that it might mean something more than we’d earlier allowed ourselves to believe,” said Jolie.
