Kate Middleton became so upset that she was ‘in tears’ after Meghan Markle confronted her as part of her baby’s christening, adding to royal feud rumors.

Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton just added to the rumors of a royal feud involving Prince Harry and Prince William’s wives, thanks to reports of their behavior during the christening for Meghan’s baby.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have vowed to give their son Archie as private and relatively normal an upbringing as they can, according to a new report.

But as part of that decision, Markle and Harry are already sparking controversy with their decision to make their baby’s christening private.

And all that tension in the Palace seems to have exploded in a confrontation between Kate Middleton and Meghan, according to royal insiders cited by New Idea.

Kate was not thrilled to learn about the private plans for the christening of her nephew, revealed those sources. Middleton feels that Markle and Harry are “disrespecting the monarchy as they continue to play by their own rules.”

It all exploded when the quartet (including Prince William, who looked as if he was sucking lemons at the official photos) were practicing the christening ceremony.

And it all exploded with Kate apparently taking the heat.

“Tensions have been brewing between Kate and Meghan for a while, so no-one was surprised that it all boiled over at the christening rehearsal,” said one of the insiders.

During a break in the rehearsal, Markle allegedly “went after” Middleton. The two got into a “very heated” confrontation that shocked the entire Palace.

“It started when Meghan asked Kate not to do anything to steal her thunder at the christening,” claimed the source. “Kate was pretty taken aback and said she would never do that, which only set Meghan off more.”

And the frustration expressed by Markle didn’t stop there. The insider also alleged that Meghan got upset when she learned Middleton had gone to see her BFF Serena Williams at Wimbledon.

“Just a lot of silly and unreasonable things, but Meghan clearly had a lot of things that she wanted to get off her chest,” added the source.

Ultimately, the situation escalated to the point where the source described Kate as “very upset after and was visibly shaken.”

Although Middleton recognizes that Markle “is emotional at the moment and was taking everything out on her at the rehearsal,” the scolding was still hard to take.

Kate attempted to keep it together but eventually, Middleton left “the rehearsal in tears and Prince William had to comfort her.”
