Kobe Bryant dead, Daughter also dies in helicopter crash.

It is with great sadness that we announce that Kobe Bryant and 13-year-old daughter, Gianna are confirmed dead in a terrible helicopter crash.

The world is in current shock after news broke that NBA star Kobe Bryant died in a helicopter crash today, January 26, 2019, in Calabasas, California.

It was reported earlier that 5 people we confirmed dead, and it has just been confirmed that one of those 5 is none other than Kobe Bryant’s 13-year-old daughter, Gianna Marie-Onore Bryant.

The story is still developing, however, TMZ released a statement revealing that Gianna was amongst those on-board the helicopter that went down.  We write this with a very heavy heart, and cannot imagine the pain the Bryant family and those affected by the crash are currently going through.

While the cause behind the crash is still undetermined, eyewitnesses claim they heard the engine sputtering before coming down. Once the helicopter crashed, fire and smoke instantly surrounded the scene, causing emergency personnel to immediately arrive at the area of the crash.

It is confirmed that Vanessa Bryant, Kobe’s wife, was not on-board, and is, in fact, safe. This is a tragic day for the world of sports, and we cannot fathom a loss this great.

Kobe has shaped the world of basketball, and will forever be considered one of the greatest ever. We are sending our condolences to the Bryant family, and send our love to those affect by this tragic event.

Kobe and daughter Gianna shared a loving relationship and would be found attending basketball games together frequently. Rest in peace to these two beautiful souls.
