Kate Middleton is not happy about picking up Meghan Markle’s slack
Just when we thought Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle had buried the hatchet and put their rumored feud behind them, a new story emerges which seems to paint a very different picture.
As one might imagine, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s decision to step away from their royal duties left a sizable void in the royal family’s world. With Meghan and Harry no longer around to tend to official royal duties, Kate Middleton and Prince William have been left to shoulder the workload left and it seems having to pick up the slack is starting to weigh on Kate, in particular.
According to a royal insider via Tatler, Kate is said to be “furious” with the larger workload she’d had to take on due to Meghan and Harry’s departure. While she continues to put the needs of the people first, the insider reports Kate has been feeling “exhausted and trapped” lately with the added workload clearly starting to affect Kate.
We can definitely sympathize with Kate feeling overwhelmed and unhappy about having to take on extra work due to Meghan and Harry’s decision. Although Kate might never directly address her feelings in the press, we could soon get a look into the relationship between Kate and Meghan Markle via Meghan’s new book.
Will Meghan Markle’s new book spill the tea on her Kate Middleton feud?
As revealed earlier this year, a new biography entitled Finding Freedom: Harry, Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family will be arriving in bookstores this summer. The book, while not directly endorsed by Harry or Meghan, is promised to tell the true story of the couple’s relationship and their decision to step back from their royal duties.
Although it’s unclear what aspects of their relationship and lives the book will explore, the hope for many is that the book will shine a light on the feud between Meghan and Kate. The aspect would definitely be sure to draw readers’ attention and is an angle we’re hoping is indeed explored via the new book.
Of course we’ll have to wait until Finding Freedom arrives to know for sure if the series will spill the tea on Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle’s tumultuous relationship.
