It’s time people stop blaming Kim Kardashian for Kanye West’s behavior and puzzling speech

Kanye West held his first (and possibly final) campaign rally in North Charleston, South Carolina on July 19. The rapper’s speech was chaotic, to say the least, and very alarming, but one person who is far from responsible is Kim Kardashian.

While many tweet reactions targeted Kanye West and his mental state, there were nearly just as many tweets calling out Kim Kardashian. Several of them even pointed fingers at Kris Jenner and the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan.

The family is no stranger to controversy and rumors, but this is one issue that we need to carefully sit back before judging and think about the situation. Not that we shouldn’t do this for all scenarios, but this is a particularly sensitive subject.

Here’s why we need to stop blaming Kim Kardashian for Kanye West’s behavior

Simply put, Kanye West is not one to listen to anybody, and I mean anybody. Do you all not know Kanye West by now? Kanye is going to continue doing what he wants to do, which is what sources have told TMZ is happening and the family looking to legally step in. As TMZ reports:

"Our sources say those around him believe Kanye is in desperate need of professional help and is in the middle of a serious bipolar episode, but he won’t listen to them."

When a person is legally named unstable is the only time Kim can actually do anything about it. Let’s not be so quick to judge. For all we know, Kim is already trying to help her husband.

TMZ’s report also states that Kim and the rest of Kanye’s family are not happy about Kanye’s speech. They don’t agree with his claims and are hurt by the mention of North West. But more than anything else, they are very concerned about his health.

One huge sign that Kim Kardashian did warn Kanye West about is Kanye’s mention of divorce. When he mentioned considering an abortion when Kim was pregnant with North, he says “even if my wife were to divorce me after this speech…,” which may suggest it’s been discussed before.

So stop telling Kim to “come get her man” and calling her a bad wife. Kanye’s actions are not her doing. Instead, let’s hope Kanye West gets the help he needs and soon.
