Emma Roberts reveals the sex of her baby with cute Instagram post

Emma Roberts has a baby on board! Yep, the American Horror Story actress officially confirmed she’s expecting her first child with boyfriend Garrett Hedlund, and we finally know the gender.

The actress shared the exciting news on August 30, taking to Instagram to show off her growing baby bump.

“Me…and my two favorite guys,” she captioned a series of pics showing off her bump. In one snapshot, Emma Roberts sat solo on her couch at home, cradling her stomach while wearing a white maxi dress. In other pics, she was seen sharing a laugh with Hedlund, who looked adoringly looked over at his pregnant girlfriend.

Judging from Emma Roberts’ caption and the blue hearts she included, it’s safe to assume she’s having a boy. While her post finally confirmed the baby news for the star, fans have known for a while. Back in June, Us Weekly spilled the tea.

A source told the site that the expecting two were “surprised, shocked and happy” when they first found out about their baby news. “They know the sex of the baby but are keeping it private for now. They haven’t picked out any names yet,” another insider dished.

Roberts and Hedlund were first romantically linked in March 2019, after Roberts’ very public split from Evan Peters. Despite finding love again, the actress admits her failed engagement to Peters was hard on her. During a May 2019 interview with Cosmopolitan she said, “I think that no matter who you are or what you do or wherever in the world you are, anything ending is hard.”

“Losing something is hard. And the only thing I can say for that is … I’m realizing that life is highs and lows. I’m trying to ride them out and live somewhere in the middle,” Roberts added.

But with a new chapter ahead, it looks like Roberts is definitely experiencing one of life’s highs!
