It looks like Bella Thorne is experiencing some remorse after making an OnlyFans page. The former Disney star has been posting ultra-sexy photos on the content subscription service, but after catching flack for her actions, she’s saying “I’m truly sorry.”

People came for Bella after she revealed she made a whopping $1 million from her first day on the site. Seeing as OnlyFans is monetary livelihood for many non-celebrities, particularly sex workers, internet users shamed her for cashing in.

Since joining OnlyFans, she’s made over $2 million, according to the Los Angeles Times.

“Hey @bellathorne congratulations! You ma’am you just stole $1 million in 24hrs from a community of sex workers who are just trying to survive and make a living,” one person tweeted.

Thankfully, Bella Thorne has issued a sincere apology. She wrote on Twitter:

"PT1 Remove the stigma behind sex, sex work, and the negativity that surrounds the word SEX itself by bringing a mainstream face to it that’s what I was trying to do, to help bring more faces to the site to create more revenue for content creators on the site. I wanted to bring attention to the site, the more people on the site the more likely of a chance to normalize the stigmas, And in trying to do this I hurt you. I have risked my career a few times to remove the stigma behind sex work, porn, and the natural hatred people spew behind anything sex-related. I wrote and directed a porn against the high brows of my peers and managers because I WANTED to help with the stigma behind sex. I am a mainstream face and when you have a voice, a platform, you try to use you in helping others and advocate for something bigger than yourself. Again in this process I hurt you and for that I’m truly sorry."

Not only did Bella Thorne fearlessly post NSFW photos on the internet, but she fearlessly defended sex workers everywhere as well. We hope her apology sets an example for any other celebrities looking to join OnlyFans.
