The announcement of the final season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians has everyone asking: What’s next? Well, rumor has it the KarJenner clan have something just as big in the works! According to Page Six, the famous family might be entering the streaming service industry.
According to insiders for the outlet, fans can “expect the family to have a big streaming deal within a year.” Additionally, a source close to the family said they’re even in talks about starting “their own media company.”
Page Six adds that the family is turning their attention from reality TV to “a more lucrative streaming deal with one of the online giants such as Netflix, Apple or Amazon.”
Yet another Page Six insider said that the family is interested in looking at more entrepreneurial-based opportunities similar to Shark Tank. After all, the family have all been busy launching their own businesses and clothing lines for years. That being said, they’re reportedly taking some time off first, a source revealed.
It was on September 8 that Kim Kardashian first announced the ending of their long-running reality show, sharing an emotional Instagram post to her page.
“It is with heavy hearts that we’ve made the difficult decision as a family to say goodbye to Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” she wrote.
Kim continued:
"After what will be 14 years, 20 seasons, hundreds of episodes and numerous spin-off shows, we are beyond grateful to all of you who’ve watched us for all of these years – through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children. We’ll forever cherish the wonderful memories and countless people we’ve met along the way."
Here’s to hoping we’ll be seeing the Kardashian-Jenners back on our screens after KUWTK comes to an end!
