Khloe Kardashian is no stranger to online trolls, but her latest Instagram photo has her facing major backlash. After KoKo was seen striking a pose looking tanner than ever, some fans are accusing her of blackfishing.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star posted the photo in question on September 19, and almost immediately received an onslaught of negative comments below the pic.

Khloe Kardashian blackfishing accusations

“Black fishinggg at its finest,” one shade-filled comment read. “What a beautiful black woman,” another person sarcastically wrote. A third commenter said, “you are straight black fishing.”

Still, others defended Khloe Kardashian.

“Khloé you look stunning,” one person commented, while another insisted she looked “beautiful as ever.”

This isn’t the first time the reality star has been accused of blackfishing. Back in May, Khloe shared a different photo which elicited a similar reaction. At the time, KoKo posted a stunning selfie, but critics quickly pointed out she looked much different than usual. In addition to facing plastic surgery rumors, she also was accused of trying to appear black due to her darker-than-usual skin tone.

Followers were outraged at the time, jumping into the comments section with harsh accusations. One critic wrote:

"I have a question for an article… why do all of the Kardashians go to great lengths to try to look African American? And why do they only date/marry/and get knocked up by African Americans? Is there a strange cult that you’re in that disallows you from being with your own race? Is there a deep-seeded anger that you were born with white skin? I don’t think anyone has ever seen an entire white family bend over backwards to make themselves another color."

This is hardly the first time a member of the Kardashian-Jenner family has been accused of blackfishing or cultural appropriation. Kim Kardashian, for instance, has been targeted multiple times with allegations that she was stealing from black culture, including styling her hair in braids and dressing up as Aaliyah with seemingly darker makeup for Halloween.

Khloe is quite the chameleon according to many, but with 121 million Instagram followers, she’s probably letting shade about her evolving look roll right off her back.
