Chrissy Teigen reveals she’s been hospitalized over ‘scary’ pregnancy complications

Yikes. Chrissy Teigen is not having an easy time with her pregnancy. The model and best-selling author is currently expecting her third child, but on September 27, she revealed that some complications have landed her in the hospital.

The star shared a series of posts to Instagram explaining she was in the hospital after spending weeks on bed rest. True to form, Chrissy didn’t hold back at all, letting fans in on all her most personal details of the hospital stay.

According to Chrissy, the complications stem from excessive bleeding from her placenta, and she has detailed her symptoms through a number of videos. “We’re talking more than your period, girls, but definitely not spotting,” she said. “A lot of people spot and it’s usually fine. But mine was a lot.”

Chrissy Teigen then told fans that the situation is especially bizarre because she feels great at the moment, and, per usual feels happier pregnant than the alternative. “That’s why it’s so, so hard for me to come to terms with,” she said.

Other videos Teigen posted from the hospital showed husband John Legend sleeping, while another one showed him making her a sandwich. Husband goals?!

Chrissy and her hubby first announced they were expecting their third child by way of his romantic new music video for “Wild.” In the clip, the couple are seen getting cozy on the beach, but by the end of the video, Legend puts his hand on his wife’s stomach, simultaneously revealing her baby bump.

Chrissy and John already share two kids, Luna and Miles, but with a third on the way, their growing family is about to be in the public eye more than ever.

Most importantly, it sounds like Teigen’s maintaining a positive attitude even through the ups and the downs of her pregnancy.
