Exciting news for Laguna Beach fans! The fan-favorite reality show from MTV could be seeing a reunion very soon.

On October 3, alum Lauren Conrad took to Instagram with an important message for day-one fans of the iconic early 2000s series. “If you guys are still looking to do something, I have one idea,” she said. “We could partner with Good to Vote and Head Count and if we can get enough people to register to vote … we could do it.”

Stephen Colletti, who is known to have dated Lauren on the show, also shared the message on his page.

As exciting as a reunion from the Laguna Beach cast would be, there’s a catch. The reunion will only go down if 500 people register to vote or check their registration, Conrad and Colletti say. Seeing as the two stars have a combined following of 6.5 million followers, however, something tells me they can make it happen!

Fans got a taste of what a Laguna Beach reunion would look like thanks to the initial Zoom call Lauren had with former co-stars Trey Phillips, Dieter Schmitz, and of course, Stephen. During the chat, the cast mates texted all the OG Laguna Beach stars to ask if they’d be in for a reunion, which basically everyone said “yes” to!

Apparently, the Laguna Beach reunion would be nearly a full-cast ordeal. In the video, Stephen, Trey, and Dieter said Kristin Cavallari and Christina Schuller also agreed to participate. Then, when Lauren texted Lo Bosworth and Morgan Smith, they agreed as well.

Laguna Beach premiered on MTV in 2004, going off the air in 2006 after a number of cast mates signed on for the spinoff series, The Hills.  But for those dedicated fans of Laguna, 2020 is (hopefully) about to bring back some serious memories.
