Caitlyn Jenner proves she’s closer to Kim Kardashian than Kylie Jenner

Caitlyn Jenner might not be close with all of the Kardashians these days, but it seems she closer to Kim Kardashian than her own daughter, Kylie Jenner.

Although she once was an integral part of the Kardashian family, Caitlyn Jenner herself has admitted she doesn’t always get to spend as much time with the family nowadays. In fact, she wasn’t even made aware of the decision to end Keeping Up with the Kardashians — finding out with the rest of the world via the internet, rather than directly from a member of the Kardashian-Jenner family.

However, that doesn’t mean she’s on bad terms with any of the Kardashian clan. In fact, it seems she’s on better terms and perhaps closer to Kim Kardashian than she is with her youngest daughter Kylie Jenner.

On Oct.  21, Kim Kardashian celebrated her 40th birthday. It was one for the ages that included an over-the-top celebration which unfolded during a special KUWTK episode and, as expected, saw Kim’s family and A-list friends flooding her with swarms of birthday wishes.

Among those to recognize Kim’s birthday was Caitlyn Jenner, who took to Instagram where she celebrated Kim with a sweet birthday message:

"“A great big happy birthday. It has been an honor to have spent the last 30 years with you. To watch you grow as a person, a mother, a wife, and business woman, has been the most amazing experience. PS You’re catching up to me!”"

It was a sweet and touching gesture from Caitlyn, which just so happened to raise several eyebrows for one particular reason.

Although the birthday message itself wasn’t unusual, what does stand out is the fact that Caitlyn didn’t bother with posting any form of birthday message to honor Kylie Jenner’s birthday just two months ago. In fact, the only Kardashian-Jenner birthday Caitlyn has recognized with a post outside of Kim’s was her daughter Kendall Jenner.

Kim has long been one of Caitlyn’s most vocal supporters from the family and the two have always had a good relationship, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Caitlyn would want to celebrate Kim’s big day. The fact that she didn’t feel the same urge to do so on Kylie’s birthday seems to speak for itself.
