Larsa Pippen weighs in on why Kim Kardashian unfollowed her on Instagram

Keeping Up With the Kardashians fans were confused when Kim Kardashian and longtime BFF Larsa Pippen unfollowed each other on Instagram, and now one of the ladies is explaining what she believes happened.

According to Larsa, the shade-filled social media moment might’ve actually stemmed from Kanye West.

Why did Kim Kardashian unfollow Larsa Pippen?

 Larsa sat down with Dax Holt and Adam Glyn on the Hollywood Raw podcast to chat about the drama that had everyone talking. “I don’t even know. I just feel like Kanye was in a place where he really didn’t trust anyone with Kim,” she explained.

She was then asked if she had a bad run-in with Kanye at any point, to which she responded, “No, we always had a great relationship. I don’t know.” Apparently, things are definitely done between her and the Kardashian-Jenner family, though.

Larsa Pippen added:

"My personality is all about love and support and I’ve been there with them through everything. So, if Kanye feels he and Kim are better without me, then let them be without me. I’m OK with that. Do I look like I’m suffering? Do I look like I’m in pain? I’m OK, I will survive. Was it hurtful? Yes. But do I have love from a lot of other places? Yes. This shall pass too."

The internet personality also explained that the rapper may be upset because she blocked his number. According to Pippen, West would repeatedly call her to vent at all hours of the night, and the situation simply became too draining for her.  “I couldn’t bear taking his calls anymore. I can’t,” she said.

She was then asked why Kim’s sister Khloe and Kourtney also unfollowed her. “[Kanye] has literally brainwashed the whole family into thinking I don’t even know what,” she told the interview hosts.

Before their fallout, Larsa and Kim were friends for years, celebrating birthdays together, taking trips together, and of course, appearing on reality TV together. It seemed like the two would be besties for the long haul, but judging from Larsa’s latest interview, we don’t think we’ll be seeing this duo hit the town anytime soon.

In fact, it looks like the KarJenners have already moved on with new besties.
