Kim Kardashian congratulates Tristan Thompson on deal with the Boston Celtics

Tristan Thompson is going green! The former Cleveland Cavaliers star just inked a new deal with the Boston Celtics and his closest friends are thrilled for him. In fact, Kim Kardashian has already taken the liberty of congratulating him.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star posted a photo of Thompson to her Instagram story on Nov. 21. “Congrats @realtristan13,” Kim wrote. “Boston here we come!!!”

The news first went public when the athlete’s agent, Rich Paul, confirmed to Yahoo Sports on Nov. 21 that Thompson would be embarking on a two-year deal with the Boston sports team and was offered a whopping $19 million to do so. Sure, he may have been a beloved Cavaliers member for nine seasons, but with a deal like that, it was off to Beantown for Thompson!

Kim wasn’t the only one to celebrate the exciting news. Rob Kardashian also congratulated the NBA’er.  “LET’S GO @realtristan13,” he wrote on his Instagram story.

Tristan is not only back in the good graces of the KarJenner family, but he seems to have finally patched things up with Khloé Kardashian. After a highly-publicized cheating scandal in February 2019, they two stars co-parented their daughter peacefully, but Koko shut down Tristan’s efforts to win her back. Then, after months of speculation, Khloé and Tristan confirmed they are back together during an episode of KUWTK where he planted a sweet kiss on her during Kim’s 40th birthday party.

Between his reconciliation with Khloé, and inking a new sports deal, Tristan’s year is shaping up to be a good one. In fact, it might just be his best year yet.
