Is Keeping Up With the Kardashians season 20 happening?

On Sept. 8, Kim Kardashian shared the sad news that the forthcoming season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians would be the last. Seeing as there haven’t been many details unveiled about the last season, fans have questions. Like, why did the famous fam decided to end their reality TV reign? And, is Keeping Up With the Kardashians season 20 even happening?

KUWTK fans can rest easy (for now) because there will indeed be a season 20. Fans will have to soak up every second of it seeing as it’s the show’s final leg, but it’s bound to be a good one. The series’ 19th season began airing on Sept. 17, and season 20 can be expected sometime in 2021, Deadline reports.

As emotional as fans are about the show ending, the family is equally so. Kim shared a moving message with fans on Instagram upon sharing the news, saying that she had a “heavy heart” when writing the post.

"“It is with heavy hearts that we’ve made the difficult decision as a family to say goodbye to Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” she began.“After what will be 14 years, 20 seasons, hundreds of episodes and numerous spin-off shows, we are beyond grateful to all of you who’ve watched us for all of these years – through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children. We’ll forever cherish the wonderful memories and countless people we’ve met along the way,” she added in one part of the post."

Through their 14-year span on E!, the KarJenners grew from being somewhat of a mockery to being one of the most powerful families in entertainment.

Now, as they prepare for the final season of the hit show, the KarJenners are going out on a high note.
