Back before Kim Kardashian was commanding the fashion world with her SKIMS brand and Kylie became the lip-kit queen, the KarJenner sisters held down the Dash empire–a boutique clothing and accessory chain.

Founded in 2006, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians ladies placed stores in major cities such as New York, Miami, Los Angeles, and more.

The famed stores even inspired a slew of KUWTK spin-off shows. In the summer of 2014, the sisters opened a pop-up retail store in Southampton, New York, which was featured in Kourtney and Khloé Take The Hamptons. Their spinoff series Kourtney & Kim Take Miami also followed their retail journey as they opened their Florida store.

Sadly, you won’t see a Dash store in any major city these days, and they don’t exist online either. In April 2018, Kim shared the sad news that the last Dash stores in existence would be closing for good.

“We’ve loved running DASH, but in the last few years we’ve all grown so much individually. We’ve been busy running our own brands, as well as being moms and balancing work with our families. We know in our hearts that it’s time to move on,” Kim wrote on her app.

In addition to being the focus of Kourtney & Kim Take Miami, another show, Dash Dolls, was centered around the retail chain. Dash Dolls followed the story of two of the company’s workers, Malika Haqq and her twin sister, Khadijah Haqq-McCray, now known Kardashian besties.

Some fans had a hard time wrapping their head around the fact the chain was closing. A few even went as far as to blame it on Kanye West. “Sometimes you have to get rid of everything,” he tweeted ahead of the stores’ closing, causing fans to speculate.

Dash dolls may be gone, but the trendy boutique chain is never forgotten.
